Moving On

It's possible.
I've seen it happen, too often than I'd like to, but yeah. Everyone does it. All it takes is a huge padlock on the door to that part of your mind. Once the door is locked, no thoughts come out, no thoughts go in. It's locked forever. And then the wait begins. The wait for the day when you can go back, courageously unlock the door, pull it open on its rusty hinges and stand and stare defiantly at the several corpses shrivelled in the corners of the room. They gnaw at you no more. Mission accomplished. The thoughts are dead and that part of your mind will never breathe again.

This death is called moving on....

Thoughts don't die. You just pretend you've forgotten them.

I've never been able to lock that door. But I have learned to hate, rationalize......and then...one day...the door didnt exist.

I think we all have several ways of dealing with our thoughts. Some fade away, and sometimes we do pretend that we never nurtured those thoughts at all.

I wish we could control what we think and how we feel. It would be of great help in retaining sanity.

IN life there come those moments when u ponder: Was this the right way or vice versa...Alas the world is a place where decisions overpower everything...and standing by them build's the courage in you...I for one have realised that is the Only Way to let the Closed Door become more realistic.

what do you do with the corpses? I have many in my head. They occupy space, rotten and pollute it all. I don't know what to do with them.

CW: Decisions come before the corpses. We inevitably make wrong decisions; we're just wired that way. Decisions can never be perfect.
Synergy: Move on to other experiences i life. The mind is like a closet. Till you don't discard the old rags, you'll never find place for new clothes :)
Lluvia: Release your corpses. Pen your mind and set them and yourself free.
